Every part of the gold is hand-beaten with a diamond-tipped tool, leaving faceted indentations on the surface and subtle sparkle that lasts. Simply put, it’s worth the hard work.

For us, the season for giving 'thanks' runs year round. Here, the writer and curator Lucy Kumara Moore sends gratitude to a selection of books. As the director of the London bookstore Claire de Rouen for the past twelve years, there are countless publications embedded into her heart.
